When contacted by either an owner or law enforcement for an accident on a public roadway, Best Rate Towing is responsible for the safe and efficient removal of wrecked or disabled vehicles, and debris from the accident scene.
Once on scene for an accident, drivers are trained to assess the situation and determine where signs need set. For a single driver manageable accident, signs may be sufficient traffic control. All of our trucks are equipped with the following:
- Reflective Accident Signs
- Flares
- Guardian Angel Lights
- Amber and White flashing lights
All of this equipment is to let oncoming traffic know of the accident ahead and to protect the safety of our customers and our drivers. When drivers need to be working on busy roadways, for the safety of our drivers, customers and vehicles, we have a pickup with a sign arrow board. This vehicle to help notify and direct traffic that there is a tow truck ahead and working in that area.
For those more complex situations, we work closely with the Montana Department of Transportation to design and plan traffic control for emergency work zones, apply and execute encroachment permits and design construction zones.We have state of the art software that helps in the designing of these emergency work zones and construction zones. Our mobile traffic incident management unit is able to stop, direct and get traffic back up and running once the accident scene is cleared off the roadway.
